Where is The Royal located?We are located at 1 South Easton Road in Glenside, PA. We are on the corner of Mt. Carmel Avenue and Easton Road. Entrance to the music venue is on Easton Road. Entrance to the event hall is 2278 Mt. Carmel Avenue.

How can I purchase tickets to events?You can purchase tickets online for all events, at a discounted rate. Go to our ticket page theroyalglenside.com/tickets to see what's shows are currently on sale. If a show is not sold out, you can purchase tickets at the door. Only cash and Venmo are accepted at the door.

Can I purchase tickets without fees?Yes! You can call 610.220.2071 to purchase tickets over the phone and avoid fees. For this method, only Venmo is accepted. Tickets must be purcahse prior to 5pm the day of the show.

Do you sell alcohol at The Royal?Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue. Unless a specific event is labeled BYOB, The Ways sells their beer inside The Royal. Outside wine is permitted with a corkage fee. No outside liquor or beer is permitted.

Am I permitted to bring my own wine to an event?At this time, we do allow patrons to bring their own wine to an event. There is a corkage fee of $5 per person (1 bottle limit per person).

Am I permitted to bring liquor to an event?No. We do not allow patrons to bring their own liquor. If you do bring liquor inside The Royal, it will be confiscated.

Do you sell food?We sell snacks at each event, but we are not a restauarnt and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaaurant and Brewery. We do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to order take out from The Ways and bring it in.

Do you require proof of COVID-19 vaccination to gain entry to The Royal?As of March 14, 2022, we are no longer requiring proof of vaccination to gain entry to The Royal. However, entry requirements may change and be determined on a show-to-show basis in coordination with the performing artist. It is recommended that you check the individual event page before purchasing tickets.

Do you require masks to gain entry to The Royal?Masks are enouraged, but not required.

What is your refund policy?All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for tickets. If you find yourself in an emergent situation and wish to transfer your ticket to a family member or friend, please call 610.220.2071.

My band wants to perform at The Royal. How do I get booked?The best way to inquire about booking is to show up to our Wednesday night Open Mic and ask for Bridgett. Face to face communication is preferred. All bands/artists will be required to submit a video/audio sample before getting offered a date/contract. Where can I park?Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.

Can I rent The Royal for a party or corporate event?Yes! Currently our first floor is the only space available for rent. We are no longer renting the 2nd floor space. The first floor is available for use for parties, corporate events, band rehearsals, seminars and more! Parties can be booked on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, some Thursday nights and Saturday (during the day only). Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for live music and comedy shows.
