The Royal Wakes The Dead | A Fundraiser to Support The Royal Nonprofit!

Let there be songs to fill the air!  Shake it, shake it, Sugaree!  Truck on down to Shakedown Street at The Royal on Saturday May 20 for a night of Grateful Dead music.  There will be roses, blues, begonias, and maybe even a toodleoo.  So, don your best tie-dye tees, maxi dresses, skirts, and groovy prints and join us for a night of blissed-out tuneage and transcendental swaying.  

Performers for this evening include Lenny Blazick, Bernie Gillespie, Ron Shaumburg, Nate Sims, Bridgett Gordon, Dylan Blazick, Edge Hill Rounders, Strumble, Rusty Forman, Colin Woods & Kyf Brewer!

Tickets are $20 -  Advanced tickets are recommended! There will be 80 tickets available. If all 80 are sold before the show, there will be no tickets available at the door!

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
