About the event

Half & Half Improv: The half short form, half long form improvised show. The first half consists of your favorite improv games seen on shows like "Whose Line is it Anyway" performed by UnScripted Production's Improv troupe, "The Alexanders," made up of Meg Powers, Bryan McKenna, Will Dennis, Matt Pozzuolo, and Peter Bisgaier. The later half includes a performance by Peter & Matt who will perform their original form, the "Turntable."

Matt Pozzuolo is an improviser/ writer from Bucks County, PA. He has trained with and performed at improv comedy institutions The Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, iO Theater, The World's Greatest Improv School, The People’s Improv Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and is a UCB Diversity Program member. Matt is currently a member of Peter & Matt (PHL/ NY), The Alexanders (PHL), and was formerly a member of CSz Philly’s longform house team, Don’t I Know You. He is most known for his work in New York as an improviser performing in shows such as PIT’s Fool Party and Characters, Characters, Characters. He also produces and performs in "New Form Night!" which is a monthly NYC improv show at Caveat.

Meg Powers has been improvising for four years. Improv found her during a time of transition in her life, and she found that it opened up a new way of thinking, listening, and connecting. Meg has trained almost exclusively with Unscripted Productions and credits Unscripted and the entire team of the Alexanders for developing her as an improviser. When she’s not improvising, she’s helping her clients thrive through physical therapy in her own business, running distance races or after her 3 kids, or spending time outdoors.
