Baldini & The Bastards Formed in the late summer of 2021 amidst the roar of COVID-19 uncertainty, Baldini and The Bastards - like many other bands and artists - raged from the embers of the growing music scene in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Manayunk.  Originally brought to life by bassist Dylan McGehean’s drive to play alongside songwriter and frontman Tony Baldini, Ian Kung - drummer in Hodgepodge, Mars Counsel - quickly joined the fold on mandolin, followed by Philly Perils bandmates Tom Vessels and Dan Wurtz on drums and guitar, respectively.  Sly Foxes frontman, Doug Meyers, later joined as keyboardist.
