ABOUT THE ARTISTS

The Lava Rocks were born from a weekly neighborhood jam at the house of guitarist Ezra Sherman. When Ezra, Deke, Nick and Don realized they had a big overlap in their musical tastes and a good combination of instrumental skills, the Lava Rocks were formed. The Lava Rocks are:  Deke Kassabian - Keyboards & vocals; Ezra Sherman - Guitars & vocals; Nick Claxton - Guitars & vocals;  Don Hantula - Mandolin, lap steel guitar, bass & vocal; Bill "Captain Smitty" Smith - Drums & Vocals.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door ($10 for kids 13 and under). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
