A Grateful Purim Costume Party with Pure Jerry ... PURIM JERRY!

Since 2012, PURE JERRY has had one goal: bringing life and spirit to the music of Jerry Garcia. What began as the group mantra, became the band moniker. PURE JERRY continues it's mission, playing classic Garcia songs, as well as Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, The Band, Motown, and more!  Fronted by veteran jam guitarist Michael Morrow, the band explores the vast songbook, showcasing versatile and fierce musicianship with renowned signature vocals, uncanny and haunting.

PURE JERRY has been touring the East Coast for more than a dozen years, bringing tasty jams and inspirational takes on the best songs from the Garcia catalogue.  Now, added to the setlists, is music by Bob Dylan, The Band, The Allman Brothers, Motown and more!  The band includes musicians with combined lifetimes of Grateful Dead experience and pedigree, and lets the music do the talking.  PURE JERRY stays busy refining a live experience that is fluid and ongoing.

With PURE JERRY, the goal is a vibe; a musical feeling that encompasses the many eras of the Jerry Garcia Band, his solo work,  and, of course, Grateful Dead songs.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door (cash or card), or $10 for children under 13 (anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian).  Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
