About the Artists
It's Grrl Power Pop Punk at The Royal featuring touring band Vices Inc from Portland, ME and Philly's own rising stars Sacred Monsters & Night Fury! Three powerful and inspiring east coast bands in the punk arena led by women!
Vices Inc is a Female fronted Alternative/Pop Punk/Rock band based out of Portland Maine. Playing regional shows all through out the northeast. Having released multiple albums and singles since 2019 and have been featured on a motion picture soundtrack.
The members of Sacred Monsters are anything but scary. However, their first EP was created during a frightening time in history: 2020. In the midst of a global pandemic, KP, Nick, and 2 other musicians wrote "Bones" by sharing files through Google Drive. That’s right! Without ever meeting in person they produced 5 songs of upbeat, sad girl rock. KP and Nick met Julie through Craigslist in May of 2021. Throughout that summer, the trio wrote "Touch and Go", Sad Girl Rock, and "Someone Else". Sacred Monsters played their first of many open mic nights during this time. Fataday officially joined the group in October 2021. He was operating one of the cameras during a fun video shoot at Neumann University a few months prior. Today, Sacred Monsters call Philadelphia, PA (and adjacent suburbs) home. Stream the latest EP, Confessions of a Sad Girl, out now!
Night Fury is a new Theater-Punk band. Fronted by Nat Fury, a Latin woman, this band is a fusion of all those things we love about theatrical glam-rock and punk music, now in two languages. The band is comprised of Nat Fury, Paul Severe, and John Sho. Night Fury was formed in May of 2022 with only two members initially and has since then added the missing pieces to take the world by storm.
