ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Natty Bumpercar has been doing comedy for a million years. He works clean, has a ton of energy, loves to engage the crowd, and makes sure that everyone has a blast at his shows. He lives in New Jersey, mostly performs in the tri-state area - but has also worked up and down the east coast at major clubs, colleges, and festivals. He’s produced cartoons, webcomics, has a podcast (the ‘Bumperpodcast’ - https://www.bumperpodcast.com) that can all be found on his website (https://www.nattybumpercar.com), has worked on the radio, been in films, theater, and commercials.

Suzanne Stein has been performing comedy since before the turn of the century. She is a Ladies of Laughter finalist and has performed at The Broadway Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway and Comic Strip Live in New York City. Suzanne regularly performs at fundraisers, corporate events and country clubs.

Describing her childhood as a cross between “All in the Family” and “Lord of the Dance,” Theresa Hummel-Krallinger taps into her crazy Irish-Catholic upbringing to develop her comedy material. For over 20 years, she has performed at comedy venues on the east coast, as well as on the Celebrity Cruise ship Galaxy. She has opened for national headliners, like Bobby Collins, and regularly performs with Philly sports radio celebrity, Joe Conklin.

In 2019 and 2021, Theresa won Emmys for her work on the PBS talk show, “Counter Culture,” with her comedy colleague, Grover Silcox.

By day, Theresa is an award-winning international speaker, corporate trainer and executive coach. She is president of High Five Performance, Inc., which serves companies and individuals throughout the globe. Theresa taught for 17 years at Temple University as part of their non-credit faculty. She is a past-president of a local club of Toastmasters International and past-president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Talent Development. She facilitates Meet the Author at the Pyramid Club, which is consistently listed as one of the top 10 Business Networking Associations in Philadelphia. She is a member of the National Speakers Association.

Andy Glaser is a New Jersey native who has been a finalist in the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter.  She performs at Gotham Comedy, Levity Live and Tommy Fox’s and has been seen on the reality show “The People’s Court.”

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
