About the event

Come experience a unique showcase of incredible songs, storytelling, collaboration and community. This concert series brings you 4 talented songwriters curated by Aaron Nathans, Avi Wisnia, and Meghan Cary. Each month, a different line up of stand out artists share the stage, taking turns performing an eclectic variety of original songs, sharing the stories behind those songs, and speaking to the unique perspective that comes with having strong connections to the Philadelphia music scene.  October's concert features: Kristin Daelyn, Erin Magnin, Bernice Lewis, and Aaron Nathans.

The Artists:

Philadelphia-based indie folk artist Kristin Daelyn combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with poetic storytelling to create a nostalgic and introspective sound. Her music, rooted in the simplicity of folk, explores themes of love, longing, and nature through vivid sonic canvases and deep emotional expression.

Erin Magnin is a multi-instrumentalist with a velvety voice and a penchant for metaphor. With a background in choir, musical theater, and classical violin, she has become a compelling musician and songwriter, weaving traces of past, present, truth, and fantasy together to create contemplative folk that captivates. Erin is one half of Delaware folk duo The Honey Badgers.

Singer-Songwriter Bernice Lewis has been touring artist for almost four decades. She performed at innumerable festivals, concert halls, coffeehouses, colleges, and house concerts, Bernice is The Artist Associate in Songwriting at Williams College (Williamstown, MA) and founding faculty at Schreiner University’s Songkeeper Program.  She has released seven recordings of her original music and is currently signed to Houston’s Berkalin Records.  She has a fifty old daily yoga practice, loves good coffee, and her religion is the Grand Canyon.

Aaron Nathans is a Philadelphia-based alternative folk music singer, songwriter and recording artist with a distinct sound, due in large part to a combination of rhythmic acoustic guitar, wide-ranging baritone vocals and beautiful melodies that you won’t soon forget. When pairing that with talented songwriting that touches on everyday life and easily connects with audiences, you’ll see why Aaron is someone you won’t want to miss.
