About the event

Come experience a unique showcase of incredible songs, storytelling, collaboration and community. This concert series brings you 4 talented songwriters curated by Aaron Nathans, Avi Wisnia, and Meghan Cary. Each month, a different line up of stand out artists share the stage, taking turns performing an eclectic variety of original songs, sharing the stories behind those songs, and speaking to the unique perspective that comes with having strong connections to the Philadelphia music scene.  September's concert features: Todd Chapelle, Hope Dunbar, Rob Lincoln, Luca Diadul, with the MC of the evening Meghan Cary.

The Artists:

Todd Chappelle is a comedy songwriter who does a mix of funny original songs and parodies.Todd’s music has been heard on The Dr. Demento Show, CNN Radio, the BBC and Good Day Philadelphia, along with radio stations in 6 states. He is the winner of the 2015 Delmarva Folk Hero contest, and he appeared in the PBS programs "Dela-Where?" (2015), "Dela-Where? 2" (2015), "Dela-Where Else?" (2016) and "Counter Culture" (2019). With a quick wit and a powerful voice, Todd is a dynamic live act who has performed at the New York Funny Songs Festival, the Philadelphia Funny Songs Festival, the Chicago Comedy Rock Festival and the Delmarva Folk Festival, along with numerous venues throughout the Northeast.

Rob Lincoln is a singer-songwriter from southern New Jersey whose debut solo album, "5 Cents A Song," is notorious for being the longest debut recording ever released by an artist in any genre of music. It contains 300 original songs with lyrics and chords. Rob is also the founder of the Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance (PASA) house-concert series and its Summer Songfest. He currently writes and records two songs weekly, posting them on his "Quest for 1,000 Songs" series on YouTube. Rob's music ranges from finger-picking folk to garage rock, and is deeply rooted both in sixties pop and folk sensibilities. He performs regularly with his duo, Lessick & Lincoln, or in the Old Sea Cats. He also plays violin in Railroad Wings.

Luca Diadul creates music for those in pain to find peace through love. After years of believing that a career in music was only possible for those ‘special’ talents, Luca’s journey started after a 4-day solo pilgrimage hike through the mountains of Japan. Three curious new friends, a ukulele, and one rendition of ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz later, the resounding applause of the 15 or so eavesdroppers in the tiny mountain hostel was the moment that Luca realized just how much performing music meant to him. Inspired by a deep emotional streak and the concept of a melancholic peace, Luca combines intimate and visual songwriting with his high, pure tenor voice to craft a uniquely expressive and softly soulful sound unlike most found in music today.
