About the event
Friday the 13th doesn't come around often! Join us in celebrating with Jason's Children - Glenside's Grateful Dead Tribute, with special guests The Veelies! This band of friends initially got together for fun on a random Friday the 13th and decided to form a 7 piece lineup similar to the mid-late 1970's era roster of the Grateful Dead.
The band plays Grateful Dead selections as well as other classic and modern rock hits in the form of an Americana electric improv folk tradition. The band consists of Joe McCormick & Nick Scurria on drums, Rico Joseph on bass/vocals, Jim Gannon on keyboards, Bernie Gillespie on rhythm guitar/vocals, Keith Galle on lead guitar/vocals. The group has been playing live shows locally since 2017.
Tickets are $15 pre-sale / $18 at the door. The Ways Restaurant & Brewery will be selling their delicious beer. No outside beer permitted. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $10 corkage fee. No Hard Liquor. Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information!
