Eastview Live at The Royal!

Eastview is a band that started very organically! Songwriters Scott Mount and Ed McGrath, along with Scott's niece Kristin Mount (vocals, guitar)and Ed's wife Patti(keys, vocals) started jamming on Thursday nights. The four clicked together musically and it became a regular weekly thing . Patti's son Matt Beato, a drummer, started sitting in with us on hand drums, but he really wanted to play a full kit. So....they made some changes! Ed switched from acoustic to electric guitar, Scott picked up the bass and and they became an electric band. Recently Scott introduced the band to his friend, saxophonist (multi-instrumentalist) Cameron Stahl. Cameron joined the jam sessions and they discovered that he was the lead instrumentalist they had been missing. Eastview's  sound was complete.               

They bring together elements of rock, alt-country rock, vocal harmonies, on songs they love from artists like Bob Dylan, Waylon Jennings, Margo Price.... Along with original tunes!

Parking:

Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
