Dina & Arten - Dark Pop Duo

A chance meeting on Instagram became the beginning of a collaboration between two classically trained musicians from different continents. A WhatsApp session turned into a songwriting partnership that transcended all odds. Their dreams and journeys thus far came together as pieces of the same puzzle to create a Dark Pop Duo whose songs push boundaries, color light with dark and aim to connect with the parts of us that are the most human.

Gibby's Joint

Gibby's Joint is a folk duo from the Greater Philadelphia area.

Fusing elements of Americana, Jazz, and Soul,

they explore classics and hidden gems from an array of musical genres.

The Players

Brandon Dennis: a classically trained vocalist, educator and a member of the core cooperative of Jazz Philadelphia.

Brian Z London: a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and educator, who has performed in

iconic venues ranging from the Painted Bride to CBGBs in a career spanning nearly fifty years.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door (cash or card).  Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

Doors Open at 7:30pm | Show begins at 8pm

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
