ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Audiences love to watch talented musicians putting their heart & soul into each tune & The Planets band delivers.
From the Philly area, Made up of Joel Planet,lead singer & songwriter & known to be a bit of a guitarist, Ray C. Planet, the drummer in the pocket, Rob L.Planet, bassist extraordinaire & Nancy Planet shakin percussion & vocals.
The first album “I Think I’ll Date her Mom” showcases their unique vocal style, creative song writing and powerful musical arrangements.
So to describe the bands style - Orig rockin blues interspersed with similar genre more obscure covers. Known as Glenside’s Keswick area’s home band .
The Planets are playing local venues, The Mermaid Inn (their favorite band), World Café, Puck Live, John and Peters, Chaplans, Cactus Grill and more!
Joel has kept The Planets music going since before the start of this century & before that rocked many of the greatest Philly stages in the 80’s with another original band The Vice Grips.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door ($10 for kids 13 and under). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.
FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.
PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
